Overview
The Video Banner technology enables you to display engaging video backgrounds on individual pages.
The thing about first impressions, is you only get to make them once.
When a visitor lands on one of your pages, they will make an almost immediate judgement on whether they like your site or not.
It's the same as when we meet people the first time. We make a large number of different assessments, in fractions of a second.
If your landing pages are text heavy, difficult to navigate and generally not user friendly, then the visitor is not likely to make a purchase.
If your landing pages have engaging content, clear call to action buttons, and are easy to navigate, you are more likely to convert your visitor into a customer.
With our Video Banner feature, you can very easily embed a video into the background of the page, to make an immediate, striking connection with your visitor.
How does it work?
Step 1
Identify a video that you want to use on your site (possibly from a video hosting site like YouTube)
Step 2
Configure the module settings
Step 3
Display a background video on your landing page
Good to know
- You can embed a video from YouTube or use an SWF file
- Configure how the video plays e.g. Play on loop
- Search boxes will float on top of the video background
