Overview
The Multi-Currency technology enables you to display prices in your customers preferred currency.
If you're attracting visitors to your site from different countries, and you only have one currency displayed, then your conversion rate might be negatively impacted.
If customers are viewing products in currencies other that the ones they are used to, they may find it difficult to understand if the product is good value and competitively priced.
This could increase buyer anxiety, and lead to the visitor leaving your site.
But managing currencies manually is technically challenging.
Imagine a hotel based in Spain, selling rooms in Euros (€).
Your online travel platform, could be set up to process bookings in GBP Sterling (£)
But you have an American customer, who wants to view the pricing in USD ($)
So that's Euros (€) into GBP Sterling (£), into USD ($)
However, our Multi-Currency technology makes this as easy as 1,2,3.
With just a few simple clicks, you can quickly and easily set up multiple currencies.
How does it work?
Step 1
Configure the currencies that you wish to display on your site, within the CMS
Step 2
Select a currency to view on the front end of your site
Step 3
Review pricing in the selected currency
Good to know
- Powered by a live currency conversion integration that automatically updates every few hours
- You can "Lock" exchange rates, so they remain fixed, instead of automatically updating every few hours
- Configure a "Hedge" which multiplies the conversion, to account for fluctuations in volatile currencies
